Abstract

The importance of witness testimony in the criminal justice process has started since the beginning of the criminal justice process. It must be admitted that the disclosure of cases of legal violations is largely derived from public information and statements. Likewise in the next process, namely at the level of the prosecutor's office and up to the court, witness testimony is the main evidence as a reference for a judge in determining whether a defendant is guilty or not, so here it is clear that witnesses have a very big role in the effort to uphold law and justice. In court evidence, it shows that the presence of witnesses is expected and is a determining factor in the success of uncovering a criminal act.
