Abstract

Humans and the environment are two aspects that cannot be separated, humans are the center of the environment and at the same time become part of the environment. The environment will affect an individual and vice versa, individuals will influence the environment. The diversity of perceptions of each individual towards the environment will color the environ-ment. Because the environment is not only a place for human activities, but also an integral part of human behavior patterns. The background of the problem in this study is about the influence of the Gazebo development on children's learning interest in the village of Akekolano. Gazebo is a public space (public space) that children are very interested in doing activities and interacting socially with each other. The purpose of the Gazebo construction is as a place for Akekolano village children to have discussions, and do homework outside of school hours.
