Abstract

In the digital world, the activities of our daily lives, when and wherever we interact, the cell phones we hold, we are connected to the internet. At home, schools, campuses, government offices, cafes, entertainment centers, places of worship, restaurants, etc. Digital technology is present to fill every aspect of life. This is homo digitalis, an era where humans are marked by a digital technology revolution. This finger man is not only a device user but exists through a device that is determined by digital actions. Upload, chat, post, and selfie. This progress also gave birth to another side, where in the past crime only occurred in the world but now it is starting to bloom and develop in cyberspace, starting in 2021 329 cases of cyber-sexual crimes and the weakening of understanding of digital literacy are one of the triggers for this crime. From the internet penetration, at SMP Negeri 7 Ternate City based on the results of a survey of 33 students with an age range of 12 to 13 can access the internet well. And 93.9% of them have social media accounts that have the potential for sexual crimes, it is undeniable. With socialization and digital literacy, they can then encourage their understanding to use social media as a healthy and safe internet and avoid cybercrime.
